Katone Aoi (done)

Katone is very shy at first glance. Rather than immediately jumping at an opportunity to make friends, she tends to quietly observe the people around her before deciding to break the ice. When she does however, the girl bursts out of her shell in full force. Katone's goal in a group of friends is to make sure every one of them is having a good time by making sure they are either smiling or laughing. Knowing how to put a smile on someone's face is second nature to her. She tries her best to be that friend anyone can come to to talk about their problems.

Though she might be initially wary about others, Katone is intensely loyal to her friends. Her parents taught her not to judge others, so she is very open-minded. However, the girl can be very blunt or rude when feeling disrespected in any kind of way. Whenever she gets into a hissy fit Katone can make the sweetest person agitated with her attitude.

Katone is a person that smiles often so it is rare to see her upset. However, when upset Katone does her best to fight back the tears until she is alone. Thinking that crying around people is a form of weakness, she suppresses her feelings around anyone while attempting to smile.

Katone tends to act tough or intimidating but in all reality she can be the nicest person around. There are many sides to her though so unless someone spends a lot of time around her it is hard to tell exactly what she is feeling.

Katone has violet eyes and pink hair that stops 3 inches above her hips, her bangs stop right at her eyebrows while a few strands of hair one either side are cut to cup her gentle face. Standing at 5' 5" her body is physically fit while being shaped like an hour glass. Her sense of style leans more towards the urban department. If she isn't seen wearing a sleeveless hoodie then she is always wearing some sort of printed T shirt. There is always something on her head whether it's a hood from her sleeveless hoodies or a snapback with whatever color that matches her shoes. Her shoes are always high top sneakers, while her choice of jeans are either skinny or torn. Katone never takes off the sapphire necklace that her grandmother gave her on her deathbed. She also despises wearing earrings.

Atra stands tall with black, light violet, and white wings sprouting out of her back. Her long tail at the end shapes into a trident like weapon while her fingers are equipped with sharp claws. From her nose up is covered by a dark violet and black mask that has two golden rods sticking out of the top on either side. Her look is very mysterious yet elegant.

Busy. Busy. Busy. Despite having both of her parents around in one household, they were always on the go. Her mother was constantly in and out of the house attempting to make a name for herself while her father worked diligently as a lawyer. The man always did what he could to make sure the mother of his only child was happy. Whatever his wife wanted, he got for her. Even as a little girl, Katone noticed the many rings, coats, and shoes he had brought home for her mother.

Her grandmother, on the other hand, started living with them when Katone turned 8. She practically raised her while her parents, Yue and Hiko, were off doing whatever they wanted. To keep Katone quiet and on their good side Hiko, her father, always bought her clothes, shoes, and toys. Even though she was never a child that wanted much, except for them to stay home once in a while, Katone took the items without much fuss. It was her grandmother who had taught her a lot of her firsts.

Life had seemed to balance itself between her selfish parents and caring grandmother. It was nana who had kept Katone sane and together whenever Hiko would up and move the family to a new town due to Yue's spoiled ways. Whenever Yue wanted to move Hiko would drop everything to pick a new town for the family to live in. Even though the constant moving caused Katone to be very shy and reluctant to make friends, nana seemed to always be there to cheer her up.

The cheering up only lasted for so long; nana had started getting ill when Katone was fourteen years old. After having many doctors run tests on nana the results all pointed to one conclusion. All nana needed was surgery and she would be fine. Katone stayed by her grandmother's side until the procedure had to be done. The surgery had only taken two hours but, nana took a turn for the worse. Due to complications after the surgery nana's heart was growing weak, no matter how many attempts were taken nothing was proving to help. With all the strength left in her, nana's last wish was for Katone to take the sapphire necklace from around her neck, wear it, and never take it off, then within the next half hour nana had gone peacefully. Hiko and Yue only came in to cause a scene... after nana had passed on.

Everything after that day changed, Katone had made many friends and established a very happy life there despite losing the one person who cherished her the most. But due to the huge loss Yue felt, it came as no surprise when Yue announced she wanted to move again. A year later her father up and moved them one last time to Honshu.
