Investigating A Rumor (Open)

Zane was walking around Kyoshi city in his normal Nippon high uniform. His glasses and earrings shone brightly in the afternoon sun as it enveloped the city. He smiled as he had started to investigate the rising rumors about the city hidden in the mirrors. He sighed as he walked gently out of a club that once had been bustling with rumors about though all the people that had went there or knew about had been found dead in the bathrooms earlier. He sighed as all the leads he had were exhausted or silenced now. "Man What luck I got." He said softly.

Kae walked along the opposite side of the street, doing basically the same thing. She was wearing her typical outfit, as it was rather warm out today, leaving her bra and other parts rather visible. "Damn. Nothing today." She crossed her arms out of frustration, thinking.

Zane had stopped paying attention and had walked into a girl. "Oh, sorry about that."He said calmly but soon found himself blushing a bright pink as he couldn't help but stare at how revealing her outfit was. He seemed distracted until he felt a twinge of pain in his chest from that harness that holds his evoker was seemingly growing tighter.

"Urgh.." She had fallen down and tried to lift herself up, eventually accomplishing that. "Just...watch where you're going when you walk." Kae glared a bit.

"Again. Sorry. I must've gotten distracted by thoughts." He said with a smile before reaching his hand out. "I'm Zane. You are?" He asked politely.

"Kae. Kae, Lakaila." She shook his hand.

(Remember, they're in Japan.. XD)

Zane grinned as he looked about. "So what brings you out here Kae?" He asked curiously as he seemed eager to learn about her.

(So? XD He's undercover! XD)

"What a coincidence! That's why I'm out here." Zane with a rather excited tone before he looked around to see if others were listening or could hear him. "I'm investigating that rumor about the city hidden in the mirrors." He said in a whisper after taking a step closer to her. He then backed up a step and waited to see if she would tell him what she was investigating.

"That's the exact thing that I'm investigating." She smiled a bit at this point.

"Well, ya know what? Why don't we investigate it together?" Zane asked with a cheery innocence that is always seemingly harmless at first. However he kept finding himself distracted by her outfit and how revealing it was.

"Sure. Just as long as you keep your eyes up here where I can see them." She rolled her eyes a bit.

"Well, I can't help it when I'm around a beautiful star like yourself." Zane said with wink and a grin as he stepped close again. "So where do we start looking partner?" He asked with a beaming and happy smile.

She blushed a bit at the compliment. "Well, let's find a mirror..tackle the rumor at the source."

"Alright! I passed by a mirror store not far from here. I'll meet ya there." Zane said as he started to run off eagerly. He seemed as if he was going to get something from the local metalwork shop.

"Alright!" She grinned a bit and ran to the mirror store. The weapon she had from her grandmother was concealed with the sleeve of the jacket she put on, as it was getting a bit colder.

Zane quickly met Kae in front of the mirror store. His clothes appeared a bit bulky as he was concealing the twin longswords that he had made. He smiled at the girl he just met. "Ready? Also...maybe after this we should hang out." He said with a small blush appearing on his cheeks.

"Ready. Hm...maybe. It depends on how all of this goes." She smiled.

Zane smiled as he lead her into the mirror store. He looked around at all the fascinating and many different mirrors. He eventually came across a rather large mirror that took up the entire wall and motioned for Kae to join him.

"Hm...well, this is the obvious way to dispel the myth." She touched the mirror, her entire hand going in. "Whoa.." She went all the way in.

Zane panicked quickly and jumped in after her. After they went through the mirror, if Kae landed on the ground or stood up, Zane would fall ontop of her.
